When he comes back to retrieve it, Wendy, sure of his existence, is recounting bedtime tales about him to her brothers. Peter Pan convinces the three to fly off to Never Land and join in the adventures of the Lost Boys - boys who were taken from their mothers and fight against the evil Captain Hook. Tinker Bell complies with a sprinkling of fairy dust to help them fly but her jealousy soon rages as the friendship between Peter and Wendy grows. The Lost Boys lead Michael and John off on an Indian hunt which leads to intrigue over the capture of the Indian Chief's daughter, Tiger Lily. There is plotting and subterfuge between Hook and Tinker Bell, and Peter and Wendy, that skims the edge of romantic inclinations. But Peter triumphantly saves Wendy's life as she is walking the gangplank of Hook's ship, after Tinker Bell has saved his. The Lost Boys defeat the Pirates, Peter and Hook duel and then Wendy, John and Michael fly home to their snug nursery beds just in time as their parents are returning home from their evening's dinner party.
